What makes a ranking series
Multiple matchdays = one season
Set up N matchdays (three ways: new tournament, import an existing one, or manual results). Every matchday feeds points into the shared overall table.
Live overall standings
Points, match balance, leg difference and average — updated after every match. Tiebreaker: points → leg difference → average.
Flexible player pool
Register members once or import them from the first matchday tournament. Players can later link themselves via the public link — you confirm the request.
Bonus points for special throws
Optional: X points per 180, per 140+ visit, for high finishes from a threshold (100/120/140/170) and an extra bonus for the 170 maximum. Rewards individual brilliance, not just wins.
Public link with QR code
Every series has a public link (S-XYZ12) and a QR code for posters. Players and spectators see the table, matchdays and player profiles without an account.

The full set of stats
180s, 140+, 100+, 60+, first-9 average, checkout % and highest checkout flow automatically from tournament matches into the series. For manual matchdays, all values can be entered optionally.

Finishing the series freezes the leader as champion — trophy on the public page. Reopen anytime if a late matchday gets added.
Four steps to a complete season
Create the series
Give it a name (e.g. "Club Championship 2026") and set the points sliders. Default: 2 points per match win + 1 per draw + 1 per leg won.
Bonus + fill the pool
Optionally enable bonus points. Build the player pool manually or let it sync automatically when you import the first tournament.
Attach matchdays
Per matchday: brand-new tournament in the series, import an existing FINISHED tournament, or enter results manually (e.g. mid-season Excel migration).
Play the season, crown the champion
The table updates live. At the end, finish the series and freeze the leader as champion — the public page stays online for the history.

Are ranking tournament series free?
The demo preview and joining as a pool player are free. Creating your own series is part of the Premium plan (€9.99/month or €99.99/year). BASIC and PRO users see a demo series on the overview page with bonus points enabled as an example.
How does a series work technically?
A series is a container for N matchdays + a shared player pool + a points configuration. Every matchday delivers points and stats according to the series rules. The overall table is aggregated automatically.
Which subscription tier do I need?
Premium for your own series. BASIC and PRO see the demo preview and can take part as pool players in others' series. Premium is €9.99/month — a one-time 24h free trial is available, as is a 2-day paid trial for €3.99.
Can I configure the points myself?
Yes, three sliders: points per match win, per draw, per leg won. Default is 2/1/1. The configuration is editable until the first matchday starts — then locked so historical standings stay stable.
What are bonus points?
Extra points for special throws — additive to match and leg points. Configurable: X points per 180, per 140+ visit, for high finishes from a threshold (100/120/140/170) and an extra bonus for the 170 maximum checkout. Set to 0 to disable any bonus.
What matchday modes are there?
Three modes per matchday: • **New tournament in the series** — the matchday IS the tournament. Bracket, live scoring, all as usual. • **Import an existing tournament** — a FINISHED tournament is attached retroactively as a matchday, points flow into the table. • **Manual result** — enter final placements + optional stats directly without running a tournament. Ideal for clubs migrating mid-season from Excel to SmartDart.
Can I import old tournaments as matchdays?
Yes. As long as the tournament belongs to your account and is FINISHED, you can import it via the matchday creation dialog. Points and stats flow straight into the overall series table.
How do players end up in the pool?
Four ways: • Add manually (name + optional email). • Automatically on tournament import — all tournament players land in the pool. • During a manual matchday: spontaneously add a new entry. • Self-claim: a player clicks "Are you one of these players?" on the public page and you confirm in the pool tab.
How do I share the series with players and spectators?
In settings you'll find the public link (S-XYZ12) — share it via WhatsApp, in the club forum, or as a QR-code poster at the venue. The projection link opens the projector-friendly layout for matchday night.
What happens when I finish the series?
The current leader is frozen as champion (trophy displayed on the public page). The series becomes read-only. You can reopen it anytime — the champion snapshot is then cleared.
Can I migrate an ongoing Excel season?
Yes. Create the series, import FINISHED tournaments that already ran in SmartDart, and for matchdays that only exist in Excel use the manual matchday mode. The external-player feature lets you retroactively add people who played without SmartDart so the ranking stays complete.
Does the table stay online after the season ends?
Yes. The public page (smartdart.app/series/results/CODE) stays reachable indefinitely — perfect for club homepages, season archives and year-on-year comparisons.
