I only need this for one single tournament — is a subscription worth it?
Often you don't need one at all. Up to 10 players, 2 boards and one running tournament, BASIC stays free forever — projector view included. If it gets bigger: try 24 hours of PREMIUM for free first (no card needed) — that covers a full tournament night. And if you really do need a plan, book a single month and cancel right after the event: you pay €4.99 or €9.99 once, and nothing renews.
Is SmartDart free to use?
Yes. The Basic plan is free forever and supports up to 10 players, 2 boards, 1 active tournament and 3 formats (knockout, round robin, groups + knockout). Projector view and the public result page are included in the free plan too. Ideal for casual play and small groups. (Darts clubs and teams are available from PRO.)
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. All plans can be cancelled monthly or yearly – directly via the Stripe customer portal in your profile. No minimum term, no hidden fees.
What happens after the trial?
After 24 hours your account automatically reverts to BASIC — no subscription, no cost. You can subscribe anytime if you want PREMIUM permanently.
Do I need a paid plan for a club or darts team?
Yes. Darts clubs and teams are available from PRO (€4.99/month) — up to 3 clubs with up to 9 members each. From 10 members per club you need PREMIUM (€9.99/month, then unlimited). Only the owner needs the plan — members join via link, even without an account of their own.
Which payment methods are accepted?
Credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), SEPA direct debit and Apple/Google Pay. Billing is handled securely by Stripe; SmartDart never stores card data.
What happens to my data when I cancel?
Your account stays and drops back to the Basic plan. Existing tournaments remain visible – only new ones have to fit the Basic limits again.
Are there discounts for clubs or leagues?
The yearly plan saves you roughly 2 monthly bills: €9.89 on PRO, €19.89 on PREMIUM, €99.89 on LEAGUE. For larger clubs or leagues with special needs: email support@smartdart.app and we'll work something out.
